2020 East/West International Piano Festival Tuition: $3,100 USD
Tuition and Fees include: • 5 full individual lessons with requested teachers • 4 coachings for piano ensemble assignments • Opportunities to perform in master classes with other faculty members • Opportunities to perform in student closing ensemble recital and solo recital • Participation in all given lectures • Free attendance to all recitals and concerts • Room and Board at the Myongji University dormitories for the duration of the Festival (Two students are assigned to each room. If a student requests a single room, there is an additional charge of $600 due at the time of application.) • Free access to all practice facilities A parent or guardian must accompany any students accepted under the age of 18 years. Students are responsible for making their own individual travel arrangements to/from the Festival. *The Festival will not be responsible for any individual medical expenses.Observer's Fee: $700 USD
The Observer's Fee is intended for any individual who wishes to only attend the master classes, lectures, and concerts of the Festival.
The Observer does not participate in private lessons or perform in the recital events for the students. The fee for the 2020 Festival is $700 US, plus the $100 US application fee.
These fees do not apply to teachers or parents of students attending the Festival. Also, this fee does not include lodging accommodations. If available, the cost for the food and dormitory lodging for a single room is $1050 USD, or a shared room (2 persons to a room) is $800 USD.
Parent's Fee: $800 USD
The Parent Fee is intended to cover the full cost to the single parent for the dormitory room (shared with the child) and the food for the duration of the Festival. The fee is $800 US.
Tuition Only: $2,350 USD
"Tuition Only" is intended for the student who wishes to find his/her own accommodations and food for the duration of the Festival, but participates in all of the activities of the Festival. The fee is $2350 US., plus the $100 US application fee.
